indieland Song of the Week - Ric Wilson "Sinner"

It isn't often that I throw around comparisons to neo soul icon D'Angelo, but Ric Wilson's new single "Sinner" from his EP "BANBA" elicits the great one. The entire EP is one of the best releases of the year, and "Sinner" is a highlight.

From the bouncey production to the instantly memorable chorus, this is one you can be sure will lift your mood and get you to a higher place. Guest vocalist Nick Cosma may be one to watch moving forward.

Ric Wilson came onto the Chicago hip hop scene in 2015 with his criminally slept on "Penny Raps". It was one of my favorite projects of that year, and watching his profile rise over the last three years has been rewarding. Now receiving national attention, it shouldn't be long before his name is mentioned in the same breath as some of the other incredible artists from Chicago.

Listen to "Sinner" and the entire EP "BANBA" now!

Produced by Hirsh and Ric Wilson. Released via Innovative Leisure.
