indieland's 30 Days of Christmas - Day 23 - Holiday Shopping at Andersonville Galleria
Shop all indie and local under one roof at this gem in Andersonville!
I first have to say that I cannot believe I did not know this lovely place existed until last week! Normally you have to attend a seasonal market or show to find this many independent sellers under one roof, but Andersonville Galleria is open all year round and features more than 100 vendors. With original artwork, jewelry, apparel, accessories, giftware, and treats, you can find something for any occasion, not just holiday.
But this is indieland's 30 Days of Christmas, so we went on a hunt for holiday gift ideas! And if you're someone still struggling to find gifts for a few more friends and family members, this is a great place to check out. It's not surprising that we recognized many of the vendors from the One of a Kind Show last week, as that is where Crosby learned about this space. It really does feel like a mini One of a Kind Show, with the way the booths are laid out. So every time you turn a corner, you're likely to find something that catches your eye.
We recommend you set aside a few hours to explore this space -- as you an see from the photos above, there are multiple floors that you'll want to spend equal time on. What were some gems I discovered here? I was particularly amused by the Sockitty (they have a great video playing in their booth that demonstrates how it works). This makes a great gift for the cats in your life! While I don't have a cat, I love it so much that I'm eyeing it for my sister's cat! (Hey, he needs presents from his aunt, too!)
In the realm of decorations for the holidays (and anytime, really) I really liked mikey made it. This booth really stood out because of how colorful and bright it was, as you can see in the photos. These paper garlands are cute and look simple to hang and use, which I'm always a fan of, especially when the light strands you put up in the house keep falling down...
You've got another week to shop, so add this spot in Andersonville to your list!
